SOUTHPORT — A 36-year-old man was arrested Monday as a fugitive from justice on charges stemming from Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
Jeffrey A. Rosenheck was taken into custody at his home by deputies from the Chemung County Sheriff’s Traffic Division.
The arrest came after the sheriff’s office received information from Bradford County authorities identifying Rosenheck as a fugitive.
Rosenheck faces a lead charge of aggravated assault for attempting to cause or causing bodily injury with a deadly weapon, according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.
The Criminal Investigations Division received the warrant from Bradford County requesting that Rosenheck be held.
Rosenheck was processed as a fugitive from justice following his arrest.
He was arraigned by the Town of Southport Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail.
Rosenheck awaits extradition to Pennsylvania.
