Middletown man arrested on multiple warrants, drug charges

MIDDLETOWN — Multiple law enforcement agencies from around the state have been searching for the whereabouts of Kyshone Jackson Jr.

Jackson had three active arrest warrants, two of which were for Escape 1st Degree.

One warrant was nationally extraditable.

Middletown Police Department Street Crime Unit detectives determined that Jackson had recently been hiding at a residence on Stoneycrest Drive in Middletown.

On Wednesday, Street Crime Unit detectives located Jackson in a vehicle and arrested him.

Detectives executed search warrants on Jackson’s vehicle and residence and he was also located in possession of crack cocaine.

Jackson was charged with Possession Of Narcotics, Possession Of Narcotics With Intent To Sell, and Interfering With Police.

He was additionally charged with two counts of Escape 1st Degree and one count of Failure to Appear 2nd Degree.

He was held on a total of $902,000 in bonds and will be presented at G.A.9 on June 20.

Jackson was previously convicted of felony Assault 1st Degree causing serious injury and Criminal Possession of a Pistol/Revolver on May 25, 2021 for an incident in Middletown in which he shot another individual.

He was sentenced to 15 years in jail suspended after 7 years.
