WILTON — State Police arrested Stephen G. Clark, 43, of Stillwater, on May 31 for grand larceny in the third degree.
Troopers received a complaint about contractor fraud on May 22 at about 10:15 a.m.
The investigation determined Clark had reportedly been hired by the victim in the summer of 2022 to complete work on their pool in South Glens Falls.
The victim allegedly paid Clark more than $10,000 for the agreed upon work.
Clark never started the work or returned the victim’s money.
Clark surrendered himself to State Police Wilton where he was arrested and processed.
He was arraigned at the Moreau Town Court where he was released under the supervision of the Saratoga County Probation Department.
