Sandown man arrested on charges of criminal restraint, false imprisonment

SANDOWN — Police arrested a 39-year-old man Wednesday after executing a search warrant at his residence where they believed a woman was being held against her will.

Donald K. Forsyth III of 40 Eastfield Loop was charged with criminal restraint and false imprisonment, according to a press release from the Sandown Police Department.

The search warrant was executed at Forsyth’s residence with assistance from the Southern New Hampshire Special Operations Unit.

Police successfully located the woman during the search.

Forsyth is being held at the Rockingham County House of Correction on preventative detention.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at 9 a.m. at the 10th Circuit Court in Derry.
