PENN YAN — A 46-year-old Penn Yan man was arrested Saturday evening on assault and child endangerment charges following a domestic incident.
Anthony Cranmer was taken into custody at 7:35 p.m. on Twin Oaks Drive in the Town of Benton, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies allege Cranmer pushed a Benton resident during an argument, causing the victim to fall and sustain head and arm injuries.
The incident occurred in the presence of two children, according to authorities.
Cranmer was charged with third-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.
He was held at the Yates County Jail for arraignment in Yates CAP Court.
