ENDWELL — New York State Police arrested a 63-year-old Endicott nurse June 2 after an investigation revealed she falsified records and took medication intended for patients at a senior housing community.
Carol L. Hissin was charged following an investigation that showed she signed out medication for residents at Good Shepherd Communities Endwell but never administered the drugs on three occasions.
Troopers arrested Hissin at her residence.
She was charged with three counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, a class E felony, and scheme to defraud in the second degree, a misdemeanor.
Hissin was processed and turned over to the Broome County Jail for centralized arraignment.
