Child locked in running car prompts response in Broadalbin

BROADALBIN — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a report of a child locked inside a running vehicle Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred at 1:22 p.m. on County Highway 107 in the Town of Broadalbin.

According to fire officials, the child was not in distress at the time of the call.

The vehicle’s air conditioning was operating while the child was locked inside.

Police also responded to the scene alongside fire personnel.

The call was classified as a vehicle lockout by the fire company.
