FALL RIVER — Police arrested an 18-year-old man and recovered a loaded handgun during a search warrant execution on Warren Street on Tuesday, May 27.
The Fall River Police Department, with assistance from the Emergency Services Unit and C.A.S.T. Detectives, conducted the operation at the 400 block of Warren Street targeting Aaron Pavao.
Investigators found a Walther PPKS firearm loaded with five rounds of .380 caliber ammunition.
Additional .22 caliber and 9mm ammunition were also seized from the residence.
Pavao was charged with possession of a firearm without a license and two counts of possession of ammunition without a license.
The department said the arrest was part of ongoing efforts to remove illegal guns from the community.
