JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place on May 8 in the area of Hopkins Avenue and East Second Street.
Police are attempting to locate and identify an individual who was near the location at the time of the incident.
Authorities say the person being sought is considered a witness and may have information relevant to the shooting.
The department is also asking for any other possible witnesses who have not yet come forward to contact investigators.
The victim of the shooting has been released from the hospital and is expected to recover from injuries.
