BROWNINGTON — Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover Thursday evening on Evansville Road near the intersection of Poirier Lane in Brownington.
Orleans Ambulance Service, Vermont State Police from the Derby Barracks, and Orleans Fire Department were dispatched at approximately 5:55 p.m., following reports from an automated crash detection app and multiple passing motorists.
Initial reports suggested possible entrapment, but Orleans Fire Department found no one trapped upon arrival. The vehicle involved was identified as a red Jeep Compass.
A tow truck was called to the scene at 6:25 p.m. Orleans Ambulance cleared the area around 6:40 p.m., with no patient transport required.
The incident reduced Evansville Road to one lane during the response, with a firefighter directing traffic around the scene.
