ALBION — Police are searching for a man who failed to appear in court after allegedly assaulting two people with a knife during a domestic dispute earlier this year.
Melvin Amador-Juarez is wanted on an active bench warrant after missing multiple court appearances, according to the Albion Police Department.
Amador-Juarez was arrested on Feb. 18 following an incident at a residence on West Park Street.
Investigators determined he assaulted two individuals with a knife during a domestic dispute.
One victim suffered a laceration to the nose, while another sustained a deep cut to the hand while attempting to intervene.
Amador-Juarez was charged with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon.
He was arraigned following his initial arrest but has since missed multiple court appearances, leading to the issuance of a bench warrant.
