CATSKILL — Police discovered approximately 150 forged driver’s licenses and a loaded handgun during a suspicious vehicle investigation at a local Walmart on May 17.
Officers from the Catskill Police Department responded to reports of suspicious activity involving a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot.
Upon arrival, officers identified the driver as Angelica Brown.
A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 150 forged driver’s licenses and identification cards from multiple states.
Officers also discovered a Springfield Armory 45 caliber pistol loaded with a magazine containing 13 rounds of ammunition.
Brown was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree.
Following arraignment, she was remanded to the Greene County Jail.
Police officials stated the investigation remains ongoing with additional charges pending.
