CATSKILL — State Police discovered the body of a missing 31-year-old man in a creek near his residence on Sunday.
Troopers from State Police Catskill received a report of a missing person identified as Ian J. Shaham of Catskill at approximately 4 p.m. on May 3.
During the investigation, troopers responded to Shaham’s residence on Cauterskill Road to gather information.
Upon returning to the residence on May 4, authorities located Shaham’s body in the creek nearby.
Investigators reported no signs of foul play at the scene.
The Greene County Sheriff’s marine recovery unit assisted State Police with the recovery operation.
