South Glens Falls man faces felony charge for driving with 26 license suspensions

SOUTH GLENS FALLS — A Ballston Spa man was arrested Monday after a routine traffic stop revealed he was driving with 26 license suspensions, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Jason P. Stover, 45, was stopped at 12:10 a.m. on Saratoga Avenue in South Glens Falls for having no plate lamp.

During the investigation, deputies discovered Stover had 26 total suspensions on his license, with 23 of them imposed on 10 separate dates for failure to answer, appear, or pay a fine.

Stover was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 1st degree, a class E felony.

He also received tickets for having no plate lamp and an uninspected motor vehicle, both infractions.

Stover was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Moreau Town Court at a later date.
