HANOVER — A single-vehicle rollover near 253 Cedar Street prompted response from Hanover Fire Department Thursday morning, causing traffic delays near local schools.
Hanover Car 3, Engine 1 and Ambulance 1 responded to the scene where one patient was transported to an area trauma center.
Cedar Street was reduced to one lane, affecting school pickup traffic for Hanover High, Hanover Middle, and Cedar School.
While emergency personnel were handling the accident, a second medical call came in from Legion Drive.
Ambulance 2 was dispatched from headquarters, while Engine 1 responded once it was clear from the Cedar Street accident.
After responding to the Legion Drive call, Engine 1 was redirected to Riverside Drive for a fire alarm.
This marks the 548th time this year that Hanover Fire Department has worked simultaneous emergency calls.
