Woman arrested on 2 warrants after traffic stop in St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY — A local woman was arrested on two active warrants after state police conducted a traffic stop early Friday morning.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks were on routine patrol at 12:27 a.m. when they observed a motorist commit a traffic violation.

During the stop, officers identified a passenger as Krystal Taylor, 37, of St. Johnsbury.

Investigation revealed Taylor had two active in-state arrest warrants.

Taylor was arrested and transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing.

She was cited to appear at Caledonia County Supreme Court on April 4 and transported to Northeast Correctional Complex for lack of $300 bail.
