Man arrested on domestic assault charge in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE — A 47-year-old Lyndon resident was arrested Friday morning following a reported domestic disturbance at a High Street residence.

The Lyndonville Police Department responded to High Street at approximately 7:50 a.m. on March 7 after receiving reports of a domestic disturbance.

With assistance from the Caledonia County Sheriff’s Department, Police Chief Harris located Dana Wells in Lyndon.

Wells was taken into custody and processed at the Lyndonville Police Department.

Authorities charged Wells with first-degree aggravated domestic assault.

Following processing, Wells was transported to Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury.

Bail was set at $1,000 cash.
