BRISTOL — The Bristol Police Department arrested two men from Alexandria on Tuesday in connection with the theft of a trailer and snowmobile on Christmas night.
Detective Schaffner led the investigation, spending hours reviewing camera footage from throughout town, writing search warrants, interviewing witnesses and ultimately obtaining arrest warrants for the suspects.
Both the stolen snowmobile and trailer were recovered as a result of the investigation, according to police.
The Bristol Police Department extended thanks to the Alexandria Police Department for their assistance with the investigation and for the use of their patrol truck.
Tuesday’s arrests were among five total arrests made by Bristol police for various offenses that day.
