CAMBRIDGE — Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of wood pellets valued at several hundred dollars from Aubuchon Hardware in Cambridge.
Police responded to the store at 9:30 a.m. Monday after receiving a report of retail theft.
According to authorities, an unknown suspect stole the wood pellets at 9:45 p.m. Sunday before leaving the area.
Investigators believe the incident may be connected to a similar theft of wood pellets from the same store on March 8.
Images of both suspects have been obtained, police said.
