WILSON — Lake Road between Lake Street and Beebe Road will be closed for an extended period due to a single-car accident that brought down power lines across the roadway, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.
A female occupant of the vehicle was transported to ECMC with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have not provided an estimated time for reopening the affected section of Lake Road.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes until the roadway can be cleared and power lines repaired.
