SHERBORN — A Milford man was sentenced to six months in jail following a drunk driving incident in Sherborn last spring.
Sherborn Police Department officers responded to a crash on Hunting Lane in May 2024 where they determined the driver was operating under the influence.
The man was arrested and charged with driving while impaired at the scene.
After a 10-month legal process, a court found the defendant guilty and imposed the jail sentence.
In addition to incarceration, the man received an eight-year driver’s license suspension and thousands of dollars in fines.
The conviction came as part of ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat impaired driving in the region.
