ENOSBURG — A Richford woman faces charges after allegedly assaulting another woman and stealing property from an Enosburg residence late Thursday night.
Vermont State Police responded to a disturbance call on Main Street in Enosburg at approximately 11:36 p.m. on March 6.
At the scene, troopers spoke with Jessica Walter, 23, who reported being assaulted and having property stolen from her residence.
Following an investigation, authorities determined that Makayla Williams, 29, of Richford had assaulted Walter and taken Walter’s property before leaving the scene prior to police arrival.
Williams was later located and issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on March 17 at 10 a.m. on charges of aggravated assault and petit larceny.
