2 arrested for trespassing in Lyndonville apartment

LYNDONVILLE — Two people were arrested Thursday afternoon after police found them inside an apartment that had been vacated due to a court-ordered eviction.

Lyndonville Police Department officers responded to 731 Hill Street at 4:02 p.m. on March 6 following a complaint about unauthorized individuals in the apartment.

Officers found Kendrick Mills, 28, of Lyndon, and Desarea Salls, 28, of Barre Town, inside the apartment.

Mills was charged with unlawful trespass of a dwelling house, possession of a depressant, stimulant or narcotic drug, and violation of conditions of release.

Salls was charged with unlawful trespass of a dwelling house.

Both individuals were transported to the Lyndonville Police Department following their arrests.

They were cited to appear in Caledonia Superior Court for arraignment on June 2 at 8:30 a.m.
