Woman arrested on domestic assault charge in Bethel

BETHEL — A Bethel resident was arrested Monday morning following a report of domestic assault on Pleasant Street.

Vermont State Police responded to the incident at approximately 9:54 a.m.

Tracey Hathaway, 40, of Bethel, was identified as the accused in the case.

Authorities determined that Hathaway had assaulted a family member.

Hathaway was arrested and taken to the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks for processing.

She received a criminal citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, on March 5 at 12:30 p.m.

The Vermont State Police have not released the name of the victim, consistent with their policy on domestic violence cases.
