OXFORD — The Oxford Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 45-year-old Ben Silun, who has gone missing.
Silun, who suffers from mental health issues and is believed to be off his medication, was last seen near 9 Leicester Street in Oxford.
He was reported missing by his mother, who is concerned for his well-being.
Silun was last seen on Feb. 28 wearing a blue puffy jacket and gray sweatpants.
Authorities warn that Silun could potentially become violent if approached and urge anyone who sees him to contact their local police department.
It is believed that Silun is on foot, as he does not own a vehicle.
The Oxford Police Department emphasizes that the public is not at risk, and the community remains safe.
