GROTON — A Groton man was taken into custody Monday night following an alleged domestic assault incident.
John Faucette, 40, was arrested after Vermont State Police troopers responded to a reported family disturbance at a residence on Tinkham Road at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Troopers from the Saint Johnsbury Barracks learned that the victim, whose information has not been released, was assaulted by a household member, resulting in pain and fear.
Faucette was transported without incident to the Saint Johnsbury State Police Barracks for processing.
