FLETCHER — Police arrested a Fletcher resident Sunday night on a charge of domestic assault following an incident on Fairfield Road.
Troopers responded to the address at 9:37 p.m. after receiving a 911 call reporting an assault.
An investigation revealed that Brian Place, 53, had assaulted a household member.
Place was arrested without incident and taken to Northwestern State Correctional Center for detox.
He was issued a flash citation to appear at Franklin Superior Court, Criminal Division, on March 3 at 1 p.m.
