UTICA — The Utica Police Department is on the scene of a car and pedestrian accident on Route 12N at Noyes Street.
The pedestrian involved in the accident was transported by the Utica Fire Department to Wynn Hospital.
The Utica Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team is on its way to conduct an investigation.
Route 12N is closed from Burrstone Road to Court Street and is expected to remain closed for an extended period.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
