ENOSBURG — Troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks conducted a traffic stop for observed motor vehicle violations at approximately 1:27 p.m. Feb. 25 on Boston Post Road in Enosburg.
The driver was identified as Michael Turcotte, 24, of Enosburg.
During the stop, troopers ordered Turcotte to exit the vehicle.
He failed to comply and fled the scene.
Troopers disengaged and did not pursue the vehicle.
Turcotte was located later that evening and issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court Criminal Division at 8:30 a.m. April 29 on a charge of eluding.
