PANTON — A local man was charged with his second DUI following a single-vehicle crash late Friday night.
The incident occurred on Feb. 21 at approximately 10:38 p.m. on Hopkins Road in Panton.
Vermont State Police responded to the scene and identified the driver as Ryan Delisle, 31, of Panton.
Delisle’s vehicle had veered off the north shoulder of the roadway and struck a guardrail.
Vergennes Fire Department, EMS, and police assisted at the scene.
Delisle was transported to UVM Medical Center for suspected minor injuries.
An investigation determined Delisle was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
He was processed for DUI and released with a citation to appear in Addison Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date.
