Royalton woman arrested on warrant after vehicle investigation

ROYALTON — A Royalton woman was arrested on a warrant after police responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on Interstate 89.

According to Vermont State Police, troopers from the Royalton Barracks were notified of the disabled vehicle near mile marker 7.4 northbound at approximately 6:52 p.m. on Feb. 17.

During the investigation, police discovered that one of the individuals involved, Krista M. Rogers, 33, of Royalton, had an active in-state arrest warrant.

On Feb. 20, at approximately 8:42 p.m., Rogers turned herself in at the Royalton Barracks, where she was issued a criminal citation without incident and released.

She is scheduled to appear at 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 21 in Windsor County Superior Court’s Criminal Division in Woodstock.
