MILFORD — A Milford resident was arrested Saturday on charges including assault with intent to murder after police responded to a 911 call.
Segundo Eduardo Zuna Cajilema, 24, was taken into custody following a report of a male assaulting a female on Main St. at around 12:10 p.m.
The Milford Public Safety Communications Center dispatched officers to the scene where they found the female victim with visible injuries to her face and torso.
Authorities located Zuna Cajilema hiding in a nearby closet.
He has been charged with multiple felony counts in connection to the incident.
The Milford Police Department is conducting a full investigation.
Chief of Police Robert Tusino urges witnesses or anyone with further information to come forward.
