ORLEANS — Orleans Elementary School has launched its annual Winter Lotto Fundraiser to support student activities and field trips through its Parent-Teacher-Community Association (PTCA).
The organization is seeking donations from local businesses for January’s raffle calendar, which helps fund various educational experiences including hiking, kayaking, museum visits, and the eighth-grade class trip.
Funds also provide scholarships for the school’s six-week Winter Sports Program, an interdisciplinary unit designed to promote lifelong winter activities and connection with the Northeast Kingdom’s natural environment.
The PTCA supports additional activities including free book distributions, special performances, and the eighth-grade service project.
