WATERFORD — Two individuals, one donning a high-visibility safety vest, are sought by the Waterford Police Department for allegedly stealing over $700 worth of electronic gaming accessories and action figures from a local Target store.

The theft occurred on June 8 at around 1:40 p.m. According to the police, the suspects made off with goods valued at $781.88 and fled the scene in a black Volvo 4-door sedan with a New York license plate LFP2925.

Authorities have noted that the license plate does not match the vehicle.

One of the suspects, identified as the man in the safety vest, is believed to be involved in another theft in Lisbon a week prior, as mentioned on the Connecticut State Police Troop E page.

The Waterford Police Department is urging anyone with information about the identities of these individuals to contact Officer Gorman at 860-442-9451, ext. 2251.
