COLCHESTER — Vermont State Police have released the identities of two New York men killed in a rollover crash on East Lakeshore Drive Friday night.

The deceased are Damanuel McLeod, 19, of Brooklyn, and Tywon Parker, 28, of the Bronx.

The crash, which is still under investigation, also involved Tayami Barnes, 31, of the Bronx, Ron A.

Thomas, 21, of Brooklyn, and an 18-year-old male juvenile from Richmond, Virginia.

Barnes and Thomas face charges related to cocaine possession and distribution as part of a separate Burlington Police Department investigation.

The Vermont State Police Crash Reconstruction Team has determined that speed was a likely factor in the crash and that none of the five SUV occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident, which involved a police pursuit that began in Burlington and ended in Colchester.

Police are still trying to determine who was driving the vehicle during the chase.

Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is encouraged to contact the Williston state police barracks at 802-878-7111 or submit an anonymous tip online.
