COLCHESTER — A two-vehicle crash involving a Subaru Outback and a Western Star TT Unit occurred on I-89 south near mile marker 96.2 at approximately 8:52 a.m. on June 4, with no reported injuries.

Vermont State Police determined that Chloe Burrington, 19, of Jeffersonville, was following too closely behind a vehicle operated by Gallen Hollister, 56, of Meshoppen, Pennsylvania.

The collision was a result of Burrington’s Subaru rear-ending Hollister’s truck amid congested traffic from an earlier incident.

The Subaru sustained moderate front-end damage, but both Burrington and Hollister were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision and did not sustain any injuries.

Traffic on I-89 was reduced to one lane while the Subaru was removed from the scene by Tailhook Towing.
