Manchester man faces multiple charges after narcotics bust

MANCHESTER — A joint operation by local and federal law enforcement agencies has led to the arrest of a Manchester man on numerous drug and firearms charges.

On May 30, the East Central Narcotics Task Force, working in conjunction with the DEA Tactical Diversion Squad and Manchester Police Department, apprehended 27-year-old Dyzhae Richardson following an investigation into suspected narcotics sales at his residence at 106 Birch Street Apartment #3.

Authorities executed both an arrest warrant and a search warrant at the apartment, which resulted in Richardson’s arrest.

He is facing charges that include Sale of Narcotics (Fentanyl), Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell (Fentanyl), Operating a Drug Factory, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Negligent Storage of a Firearm, Altering Marks on a Firearm, and two counts of Risk of Injury to a Minor.

During Richardson’s arrest, officers confiscated a significant quantity of narcotics and one illegal firearm.

Richardson was detained on a $500,000 bond.

The Manchester Police Department has underscored the importance of community involvement in combating narcotic activities.
