WATERFORD — Two suspects are on the run after stealing $909.86 worth of merchandise from a local Target store on May 25, authorities said.

The Waterford Police Department reported that at approximately 9:30 p.m., the suspects took various items and fled through an emergency exit.

They were seen getting into a distinctive van, said to resemble the one used by the A-Team in the classic television series, which was driven by a third accomplice.

According to the police, there is a belief that this group may be connected to other similar incidents at Target stores in the area.

The police have released the case number, 2024-00820, and are urging anyone with information on the identity of the suspects or the whereabouts to contact Detective Carroll at 860-442-9451, extension 2338.
