MILTON — A Vermont man was arrested Monday morning after state police caught him driving over 100 mph on Interstate 89 with a suspended license.
Andrew J. Fortune, 24, from Barre, was taken into custody around 10:17 a.m. after troopers clocked his vehicle speeding at 104 mph.
The traffic stop occurred on I89 in the Town of Milton, where troopers were conducting speed enforcement operations.
An ensuing check revealed Fortune’s license was criminally suspended.
He was processed at the Williston Barracks and released with a citation to appear in the Chittenden County Superior Court – Criminal Division at a later date.
