Springfield police seek help identifying vehicle break-in suspect

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance following a vehicle break-in on the night of April 11 on Summer Hill Street.

According to authorities, several items were stolen from the vehicle, including a credit card.

The stolen card was later used fraudulently at the Penguin Mart on 50 Clinton Street.

The police have released photographs of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

They believe that members of the community may be able to assist in identifying the individual responsible for the theft and subsequent unauthorized credit card use.
