Manchester police investigate early morning armed robbery at XtraMart

MANCHESTER — An armed robbery at the XtraMart on Hartford Road was reported to the Manchester Police Department after three suspects entered the store at 4:20 a.m. and demanded money.

One of the suspects showed a firearm during the robbery, according to police officials.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the trio fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV.

Witnesses described two of the suspects as wearing all black with hoods and face masks, while the third suspect had black pants paired with a red hooded sweatshirt and a face mask.

Manchester police officers and detectives are actively investigating the crime and are working to collect additional information and evidence.

Despite the violent nature of the robbery, the police confirmed that no injuries were reported.

The Manchester Police Department is asking anyone with information about the robbery or the suspects to come forward and assist in the investigation.
