Coordinated law enforcement effort leads to multiple arrests in Lowell

LOWELL — A coordinated law enforcement effort in the JAMS (Jackson St, Appleton St, Middlesex St, Summer St) area and Bishop Markham Housing Complex in Lowell on March 5 resulted in multiple arrests, according to the Lowell Police Department.

The operation, conducted by the Lowell Police Department’s Neighborhood Response Unit, Gang Unit, and Lowell Housing Authority Officers, led to the arrest of 10 adults on outstanding warrants.

Additionally, one adult was arrested for carrying a loaded firearm without a license, one for public drinking, one for illegal possession of Class A drugs, and one for both illegal possession of Class A drugs and an outstanding warrant.
