Providence police make multiple arrests in one day

PROVIDENCE — On February 28, a series of arrests were made by various units of the Providence police and other law enforcement agencies, leading to the apprehension of several individuals on various charges.

Shimeek T. Lee, 25, was charged with a third offense of Violation of a No Contact Order.

Lee, a resident of 460 Pine Street, was arraigned in Third District Court and held without bail as a District Court Bail Violator.

Kelian A. Rosales, 22, of 8 Andem Street, was arrested by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force on charges of First Degree Child Molestation.

The arrest warrant was issued by the Providence Police Department. Rosales was subsequently turned over to the Providence Police for processing.

Joseph Paquin, 39, from 60 Elite Drive in Warwick, was also apprehended by the Violent Fugitive Task Force.

Paquin faced charges of Second Degree Sexual Assault from the Central Falls Police Department and was handed over to the Warwick Police Department after processing.

The Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Shaheed Miller, 30, for failing to appear at a pre-arraignment conference on a felony assault charge and being a fugitive from Delaware on charges of Motor Vehicle Theft.

Miller, whose last known address was 2499 Concord Pond Road in Seaford, Delaware, was arraigned in Sixth District Court and is held pending extradition.

Casandra Sebastian, 40, of 425 Prairie Avenue, Apartment 1, was taken into custody by the Auto Theft Unit. Sebastian faced charges including Attempted Larceny over $1,500, Insurance Fraud, and Conspiracy.

She was transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

Finally, the HIDTA Task Force arrested Marco Sandoval, 24, from 142 Sorrento Street, for possession with intent to deliver Schedule II controlled substances, Cocaine and Fentanyl.

Sandoval was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, then transferred to the ACI Intake Center, awaiting his morning arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.
