Cambridge police seek help in finding missing 15-year-old girl

CAMBRIDGE — The Cambridge Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 15-year-old girl who is believed to have run away from her residence in the Bow Street area near Harvard Square.

The juvenile was reported missing by her parents on Friday, Jan. 26, after she left the residence around 1:26 a.m.

Described as a Black/Hispanic female, the missing girl stands at 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 100 pounds.

She has brown and red colored hair styled in two braids.

At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a black Nike sweatsuit, red sneakers, glasses, and was carrying a white trash bag containing her personal belongings.

Authorities are concerned for her well-being and are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the Cambridge Police Department at 781-777-3065 or the Cambridge Emergency Communications Department at 617-349-3300.

The police are asking for the community’s help to ensure the safe return of the young girl.
