READING — A 54-year-old Peabody woman was arrested and charged with her second offense of drunken driving following a traffic stop by the Reading Police Department on Saturday night.

Kelly McGovern faces charges of operating under the influence of liquor (second offense), operating to endanger, and a marked lanes violation after police received a call about an erratic driver.

On Jan. 27, at around 9:25 p.m., authorities were alerted to a brown Toyota Camry swerving on Lowell Street.

Officers located the vehicle at the intersection of Lowell and Salem Streets, where they observed it being driven erratically.

McGovern was stopped on Salem Street and subsequently arrested following an on-scene investigation.

She was arraigned on Monday at the Woburn District Court.
