Croydon cemetery vandalized, police seek information

CROYDON — Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop C Barracks were called to the Croydon Flat Cemetery on Camel Hump Road on Dec. 23 for a report of criminal mischief.

Upon their arrival, troopers found extensive damage, with numerous ruts and tire tracks on the cemetery’s grassy areas.

The vandalism appears to have been caused by vehicles deliberately driven over the property.

The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between the evening of Dec. 22 and the early morning hours of Dec. 23.

Authorities are seeking assistance from the public to identify those responsible for the damage.
