Everett police arrest one in undercover drug sting

EVERETT — In a concerted effort to combat drug sales within the city, members of the Everett Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit executed an undercover operation this evening that led to the arrest of a male suspect on multiple drug-related charges.

The individual, whose identity has not yet been released, is facing charges for the distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

During the course of the investigation, police seized quantities of cocaine, oxycodone, and marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia, including a scale and materials used for packaging the substances.

In addition to the drugs, investigators recovered over $61,000 in cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug transactions.

The police department has not yet provided information on the court date or whether additional suspects are being sought in connection with this case.
