CONCORD — Concord Police have arrested a registered sex offender following a four-month investigation into a report of sexual assault involving a juvenile female. The offender, identified as Sanville, was apprehended by the Candia Police Department on November 27, 2023, and processed at the Concord Police Department.

The initial report, taken on July 22, 2023, led to a comprehensive investigation involving interviews, search warrants, and evidence collection. The victim was interviewed at the Merrimack County Child Advocacy Center, where she disclosed being assaulted and propositioned for sex by Sanville in exchange for gifts, money, drugs, and food.

Detectives’ findings confirmed the victim’s account and revealed that Sanville was not adhering to his sex offender registration requirements. Consequently, probable cause was established, and Sanville was charged with Trafficking in Persons, Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration, and Simple Assault.

Following his processing, Sanville declined bail services and was taken to the Merrimack County House of Corrections. He is scheduled for arraignment in the Merrimack County Superior Court on November 28, 2023.

The Concord Police Department continues its investigation into the matter and urges anyone with relevant information to contact their Criminal Investigations Division at 603-225-8600.
