WINDSOR — A 65-year-old man from Chester was arrested for his second DUI following a crash in Windsor yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on I-91 north at around 4:45 p.m.
Police say that Richard Farnsworth was operating his vehicle north when he left the road and hit a guardrail as well as multiple trees.
Farnsworth showed signs of impairment and was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
He was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.
Farnsworth was issued a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in court on October 17 to answer the charge.
