Westminster man arrested for probation violation

WESTMINSTER –– A local man was arrested on Forest Road for violating his probation on September 29, according to the Windham County Sheriff’s Office.

Todd M. Ward, 55, of Westminster, was taken into custody after deputies received reports of an intoxicated man who had breached his probation terms.

The reporting party had locked Ward out of the residence, yet he refused to leave the property.

Deputies Thomas Raymond and David Gaillerdetz arrived at the scene and worked in collaboration with officers from the Vermont Probation and Parole office.

After verifying that Ward had indeed violated his probation, they arrested him.

Ward was taken to the Windham County Sheriff’s Office.

Subsequently, the custody was transferred to Probation Officers, who moved him to the Southern State Correctional Facility.
